CHANGES TO CHURCH SERVICE AND HARD OIL KIDS’ DAY

Due to the very wet conditions in Greenwood Park, some changes have been made to the non-sectarian church service and, to ensure a great time for youth of all ages at Hard Oil Kids Day, some events have also been moved.

The event details:

NON-SECTARIAN CHURCH SERVICE – 10:00 a.m. – MOVED to St. Paul’s United Church. All are welcome!

HARD OIL KIDS’ DAY changes:

Ricky Magic – magic show – 11:00 a.m. – MOVED inside Greenwood Recreation Centre

Dance Party – MOVED inside Greenwood Rec. Centre

Black Top VS. OPP/EMS & Fire Canada Day Baseball Rematch – POSTPONED due to very wet conditions. (The reigning champions the Black Top baseball players would rather we mention that the OPP/EMS & Fire team just needed more time to practice if they hope to beat them!) – new date TBA

Roller Skating – POSTPONED – new date TBA

BINGO – 12:00 p.m. inside the Petrolia Lions Hall

Soap Box Racing – registration at 9:00 a.m., heats begin at 10:00 a.m. – on Huggard Street

Face Painting, Balloon Twisting, Crafts, Games and more – look for us in Greenwood Recreation Centre and under the Petrolia Lions Pavilion

FOOD TRUCKS – all available and open all day! Truckin’ Mamas will be giving away 150 FREE HOT DOGS three times today, and free freezies from Heidi’s Your Independent Grocer.
